OVERVIEW:

One Vision Productions (OVP) is proud to present this narrative detailing our successful collaboration with Global Evaluation and Applied Research Solutions (GEARS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the execution of photography services for the The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) Conference. BRFSS is the nation’s premier system of health-related telephone surveys that collect state data about U.S. residents regarding their health-related risk behaviors, chronic health conditions, and use of preventive services. Established in 1984 with 15 states, BRFSS now collects data in all 50 states as well as the District of Columbia and three U.S. territories. BRFSS completes more than 400,000 adult interviews each year, making it the largest continuously conducted health survey system in the world.

GOALS:

OVP was tasked with capturing the impactful stories of speakers and presenters during the BRFSS Conference. We set clear goals to highlight their achievements, document the conference atmosphere, and support GEARS training efforts.

PROCESS:

Through comprehensive pre-conference planning, OVP coordinated with GEARS to outline key photography moments during the 5-day conference. On-site, we utilized professional-grade equipment to authentically capture the narratives and vibrant interactions of the event. Post-production involved editing the photos to create compelling stories aligned with the BRFSS mission, while showcasing significant moments from the conference.

OUTCOMES:

All deliverables were completed within budget and deadline, yielding powerful photos that enhanced the visibility of the BRFSS and provided valuable assets for GEARS ongoing initiatives. OVP is committed to producing high-quality visual content and looks forward to further opportunities to support public health initiatives alongside GEARS and the CDC.
